The Thread Insert features "knife threads" on the outside and standard UNC threads on the inside. It is used to connect horizontal wire rope to wooden posts and to attach other fasteners to wood, plastic or carbon fiber. This insert is offered in a variety of sizes ranging from 3/16" to 3/8".
